Our advanced foot-care nurses complete specialized theory and supervised clinical training and practise to the CAFCN (Canadian Association of Foot Care Nurses) competency framework. Alberta LPNs providing Advanced Practice Foot Care hold approved advanced education and advanced authorization from the College of Licensed Practical Nurses and Health Care Aides of Alberta (CLHA), shown on their practice permit; RNs practise within CRNA requirements.
