Welcome
About Alberta Maple Care
Alberta Maple Care Ltd. is a proudly Alberta-based provider of high-quality home and community care services. We are dedicated to supporting individuals and families across Calgary and surrounding communities by delivering compassionate, personalized care in the comfort and dignity of their own homes. Our services span the full spectrum of care—from primary and acute to continuing care—tailored to meet the evolving needs of Albertans at every stage of life.

What we stand for
Our Purpose
We aim to support Albertans in living with dignity, comfort, and independence by bringing high-quality care directly into their homes. We aim to make home the best place to heal, age, and thrive.
Our Mission
We are here to disrupt how home care is delivered in Alberta—introducing new ways to provide, coordinate, and measure care, and raising the standard of quality across the province. From personal support and nursing to behavioral care and consulting, we bring the right care at the right time to the place people feel safest: home.
Our Commitment
We are committed to delivering care with compassion, respect, and professionalism. We promise to prioritize safety, foster trust, and continuously optimize how home care is delivered—measuring, refining, and improving our services to meet the evolving needs of our clients and the communities we serve.
Our Values
What makes us different
Every provider promises to treat clients like family and to care with empathy and respect. We make those promises too, and we mean them. The difference is what we do on top of the words:
We’re rebuilding home care, not repeating it
We design new ways of delivering home care, test them in the real world, and adjust based on what clients and their families tell us. Listening is the method, not a slogan.
Locally owned, not a franchise
Alberta Maple Care is a local, independent business — not a franchise, and not a branch of a national or international chain. We live here, we know this community, and we answer to the families we serve, not to a distant head office. Decisions about your care are made in Alberta, by people with their name on the door.
Nurse-to-nurse advocacy
When your file needs follow-up, or push-back, our Registered Nurse speaks directly with Assisted Living Alberta case managers, nurse to nurse, in the same clinical language. We escalate on your behalf with Assisted Living Alberta, other health care agencies in Alberta, and your family doctor.
A social worker in your corner
Applications, paperwork, and complicated situations: our social worker helps you work through them, usually at no charge.
An intake that digs deep
Our in-depth intake and assessment is built to truly understand your needs. Then we connect you with our network of providers, associations, community programs and donors, and with suppliers of medical and non-medical equipment, where we work to secure the best deals for clients who want extra help at home. You benefit from everything available to you, not just our own services.
Caregivers matched to you
Familiar faces, familiar language, shared culture where it matters to you. The people in your home almost every day should feel like family, so we match on your preferences, not just the schedule.
Consistency over rotation
Trust grows by seeing the same caregiver at the door. We keep rotations as low as our caregivers’ availability allows, because that relationship is the heart of good care.
A nurse on standby
An LPN or Registered Nurse is always ready to dispatch to a client’s home when a need or an issue comes up.
Help with the hardest conversation
Many seniors refuse home care because of misconceptions about what it means. We sit down with families, usually at no charge, to answer every concern and help a hesitant parent understand what home care really is, and what it is not.
Our commitments
What every family can count on
A registered nurse designs and supervises every care plan — you always know who is clinically accountable for your family’s care.
We handle the CDHCI paperwork and bill Alberta Blue Cross directly, so approved funding never turns into a reimbursement chase.
Care starts with a free in-home visit: we come to you, listen first, and answer everything — no cost, no obligation, no pressure.
As needs change, care changes with them — from a few hours a week to around-the-clock and live-in support, without switching providers.
