What happens to visits when winter hits Highway 1?
Winter is built into the calendar, not patched around it. Canmore schedules favour extended-stay blocks (a half-day or full day, so a single drive covers everything), set on fixed weekdays, with a make-up slot already agreed for the times Highway 1 closes. Anyone who can’t safely miss a day is better served by extended-stay or live-in care through the snowy months. (Live-in support is steady daily help, not an emergency medical response.)
