Southeast Calgary
Home care in SE Calgary
The deep southeast grew up fast (Mahogany, Auburn Bay, Cranston, Seton), and a lot of those young households are now bringing Mom or Dad closer. Our nursing-led team supports the whole arrangement: real care for the parent, real relief for the family.
Minutes from South Health Campus
The SE has something the rest of the city drives to: South Health Campus. When a parent is admitted, or being discharged, we’re working in the neighbourhoods right around it. Call before discharge and we’ll coordinate with the plan, set up the home, and take the first shifts while everyone catches their breath. See hospital-to-home recovery.
The granny-suite quadrant
More than anywhere else in Calgary, SE we hear the same story: parents moved into the suite downstairs, or a bungalow ten minutes away, to be near the grandkids. It works — until the care needs grow past what evenings and weekends can hold. That’s the moment for us: consistent caregivers covering the daytime hours, respite protecting the family caregiver, and a nurse accountable for the whole plan.
We serve the full quadrant: Mahogany, Auburn Bay, Cranston, Seton, McKenzie Towne, Copperfield, New Brighton, Douglasdale, Quarry Park, Riverbend, Ogden and beyond, with Chestermere right next door.
What SE families ask for most

Getting to you in the southeast
Every Calgary community on this page is inside city limits, so our published rates apply as they stand. Rates apply within Calgary city limits; for homes outside the city boundary, rates may vary and are confirmed case by case before care begins.
Chestermere is the one to ask about. It is right next door and we do serve it — it sits in the same Assisted Living Alberta Calgary Zone, so CDHCI works there exactly as it does here — but it is outside Calgary’s boundary, which means the rate is confirmed case by case rather than read off the pricing page. One call settles it. See home care in Chestermere.
Inside the quadrant the distances are long rather than slow: Mahogany to Ogden is most of the way across the city, and Deerfoot at the wrong hour decides how long it takes. So we schedule by pocket — the deep south communities together, the older river communities together — which is how the same caregiver keeps arriving rather than a different one each week. Being minutes from South Health Campus cuts both ways in your favour: a discharge can be covered the same day, and a nurse can get to you quickly if something changes.
