Almost no home care provider in Alberta will tell you what care costs before you call. We think that’s backwards. Here are our rates — on the page, no email address, no callback required — and the three honest ways they can come down.

Rates apply within Calgary city limits. For homes outside the city boundary, rates may vary and are confirmed case by case before care begins. Visits are a minimum of 3 hours — shorter visits are sometimes possible when we can combine yours with other visits in your area, so call us and ask.

An estimate, not a quote: your written service agreement states the exact price before care begins — there are no hidden fees, and every fee is agreed up front. Approved CDHCI hours can reduce our private rate, and our social worker’s affordability assessment may lower fees for private-pay families — both are confirmed at assessment. Rates apply within Calgary city limits; outside the boundary, rates are confirmed case by case. CDHCI program rates are set by the program and may change over time — any change flows through to the portion billed directly to Alberta Blue Cross in this calculation. 1 · CDHCI hours lower it
Approved CDHCI hours are billed directly to Alberta Blue Cross, which currently pays $34.06 of each approved hour; you pay only the balance. And the more hours you’re approved for, the lower our private rate may go for the rest. Check your eligibility in a minute.
2 · 100+ hours/month: ask about $0
Clients with more than 100 approved CDHCI hours per month may qualify for reduced or even $0 out-of-pocket, assessed case by case. Your rate can be discussed with our intake officer at the time of intake.
3 · An affordability assessment
Paying privately and stretched? Our social worker conducts an affordability assessment; families who qualify receive reduced fees. Care shouldn’t be a luxury good.
