Key Responsibilities & Professional Standards
Our certified Health Care Aides and Personal Support Workers are the backbone of our community. When you join our team, these are the core responsibilities and authorized duties you will execute to provide compassionate, reliable support to our clients.
Personal care
Bathing, grooming, oral care, dressing, perineal care, toileting.
Medication reminders
Verbal prompts only; hand pre-filled dosettes/blisters. No administration.
Meal prep & feeding
Per dietary instructions. Hydration support including thickened fluids.
Mobility & transfers
Ambulation, bed-to-chair transfers, transfer-belt use, repositioning.
Light homemaking
Living areas, laundry, bed-making, basic tidying. Authorized rooms only.
Companionship
Conversation, accompaniment, supportive presence.
Escorting to appointments
Medical appointments and outings, when authorized in the care plan.
Observation & reporting
Note changes in condition, mood, environment. Report same-day.
