Yes. Alberta Home & Community Care supports people of all ages. When CDHCI is authorized after assessment, we direct-bill Alberta Blue Cross for approved hours, and families can add private top-ups. Additionally, eligible equipment and supplies are funded through the Alberta Aids to Daily Living (AADL) program following an assessment by an authorizer. For pediatric clients, specialized items such as bathing, toileting, or seating equipment, as well as recycled equipment like standing frames, are managed under AADL Manual Section K and must be purchased through approved vendors.
